Bernstein Law Firm Merges with Joseph M. Wymard P.C.
As of January 1, 1999, The Bernstein Law Firm will merge with the firm of Joseph M. Wymard, P.C., to form the expanded practice of Bernstein Bernstein Krawec & Wymard, P.C. The resulting firm, concentrating in both commercial and retail collections, will maintain its main offices in Pittsburgh, PA and will also have locations in North and South Carolina.
According to Partner Robert S. Bernstein, "This match made incredibly good sense. Both of us are family firms dedicated first and foremost to providing outstanding customer service. Both of us have built strong, solid reputations in our field; both of us are recognized nationally for our expertise; and both of us know what it means to build a practice on quality and results."
The Wymard family has been a major force in the Pittsburgh collection industry for more than 50 years, and has built a solid reputation representing banks, department stores and other local and national creditors. Further, they share Bernstein's philosophy of providing an ever-expanding range of collection and legal services to their clients. As more financial services businesses are expanding into commercial areas and vice versa, there was a need for a Pittsburgh-based law firm to be able to provide the whole range of consumer and commercial credit legal services. Now Bernstein Bernstein Krawec & Wymard can assume this role.
Further, the new firm will continue to provide a complete range of services in the areas of creditor rights and bankruptcy; mortgage foreclosure, lien and bond claims, and litigation.
