Bernstein Law Firm Associate Kirk Burkley volunteers for Neighborhood Legal Services Association. Kirk has always been intrigued with the services provided by NLSA. After establishing his career with Bernstein Law Firm he contacted NLSA to offer his expertise. Kirk is currently providing legal advice on Bankruptcy issues.
NLSA is a non-profit Pennsylvania corporation that provides free legal services to low-income people. Its mission is "to meet the civil legal needs of poor and vulnerable individuals by securing the rights and obtaining the benefits to which they are entitled through effective legal representation of eligible individuals and groups." Program services include telephone consultation, free clinics and community education.
